Historia
P.I. Sharon McCone is sick and tired of San Francisco's persistent rainy weather, so she jumps at the chance to investigate the sabotage of a movie being filmed on the Hawaiian island of Kauai. The documentary is based on the writings of Elson Wellbright, a descendant of a missionary family and scholar of Hawaiian culture and history. Wellbright's son is bankrolling the project and has angered many members of the family, who aren't anxious for the film to be completed.

The narrator has no personality
Revisado: 03-25-24
I would say this book was read by AI but AI can muster more emotion than this narrator.

The Globe Apartments, six stories of decaying brick and concrete, rises above San Francisco's volatile Tenderloin district. Author is harsh on larger people
Revisado: 03-02-24
I realize this was written a few decades ago but man was she ever harsh on one of her characters. 5’10” and 200lbs really isn’t that big. She keeps referencing her girth, calling her fat, saying she waddles or lumbers along, or saying that she wouldn’t fit in a room with others. Like, really?
