I love Buck and Alpha 9's story so far. I hope we get more from this author. Great narration imo, but I wouldn't get upset if they wanted to ask Nathan Fillion to read the next one.

Historia
The darkest secrets stay hidden. Wraith, seeking to acquire intel on the mysterious Kill Team Ice, finds himself teamed up with an unlikely Nether Ops ally. Zora and Garret, in pursuit of a lost friend, will have their loyalty to Captain Keel tested. And the strain on Nilo and Black Leaf continues to grow, with unexpected intensity. For all of them, the path forward is a crooked one, weaving through House of Reason loyalists, Bronze Guild bounty hunters, brutal slavers, Legion operators, and the mysteries now emerging from the empty and foreboding space beyond galaxy’s edge.

Feeding my Addiction
Revisado: 08-23-21
This story is so incredibly well done. I can't wait to follow the trail to its very end and then walk it backwards and take all the side roads along the way. Its consistently good. what else can be said? I hope it continues long enough that I get to write one of the stories myself one day. #teammasters and I'll tell you how. Masters somehow gets pulled into the Quantum Palace and messes with all reality to create the various races in the galaxy. He has no idea what he's doing, just hitting buttons to try and conjure his dream girl. That's as good as canon imo. On a more serious note, I will end my half baked review with a wish list. Since I always seem to miss the insider emails that get people into the after-book round table, I will ask my questions here...when will we get a deep dive look into the Martian War and the events that led up to it? Also, will we get a good look at pre-legion Ford? I want to know everything.

This series deserves to live forever
Revisado: 07-03-21
I became an GE insider for the sole reason that the books were too cheap. Nick and Jason deserve more money. Its that simple. The effort and passion that is sewn into the DNA of these stories never ceases to amaze me. I'm glad things are continuing and this is a great way to kick that off. If you've enjoyed the universe of GE so far, you won't be disappointed. If this is your first GE book, I pity you and your ignorance. I would never want to go back to a time when I didn't know about Tyrus, Casper, and Wraith. The round table at the end was a pleasant surprise and it left me wanting more. I will continue to attempt to share these books with everyone around me. One day, I might succeed in finding a friend who can read. I'd like to end my review with a small spoiler so here's your warning...the best part of the book was the epic 3 chapter long battle of Muppets! Ermo and Ravi revert to their true felty natures and go at it like its summer slam 2002 and the grand prize is a kiss from Tori Wilson herself.. I didn't think Ermo could put his leg behind his head like that, but I know Ravi was ready for anything. The flying chunks of foam and accidental puppeteer reveals will always have a special place in my heart. Now that this ridiculous troll is out of the way, please read these books. They are the best. God bless the authors and God bless you for making it through my insane comments. Goth Sullus did nothing wrong. Masters is right about the origins of alien species. Bots go to heaven. And we need more stories about the war on Mars.

Historia
The Coalition is reeling. New Vega and its other worlds have fallen beneath the boot of the newly allied Savage marines, and the death count continues to rise at a staggering rate. One thing is clear: The war to come will be a fight for the very survival of the species. For both sides in this conflict, now is the time to become what fate, and victory, demand. The Savages - post-human monsters who believe themselves to be gods - are intent on remaking civilization in their own violent and pathological image. Yet their alliance is tenuous.

As a crumbling Galactic Republic falls to the relentless assault of a merciless foe, so begins the rise of an enigmatic emperor intent on saving a corrupt galaxy-spanning civilization from itself…and from something much darker that lies beyond the reaches of the known. Just as the reins of power fall into his iron-fisted grasp, an assassination attempt by a hidden cabal within his own inner circle jeopardizes every plan he has set in motion for his Dark Legion, his Imperial Navy, and his ultimate conquest of the stars. But the assassins have no idea who they're actually dealing with.

On the edge of the galaxy, a diplomatic mission to an alien planet takes a turn when the Legionnaires, an elite special fighting force, find themselves ambushed and stranded behind enemy lines. They struggle to survive under siege, waiting on a rescue that might never come. Revisado: 04-24-20
I can't wait to start the next book. This was freaking great. Hopefully we get an explanation as to what changed for Wraith to make him go full Han Solo/Starlord lovechild. But whatever the reason, it's a great path for the character.

Historia
Beneath the gaze of the gods, the mighty armies of Greece and Troy met in fierce and glorious combat, scrupulously following the text set forth in Homer's timeless narrative. But that was before 21st-century scholar Thomas Hockenberry stirred the bloody brew, causing an enraged Achilles to join forces with his archenemy, Hector, and turn his murderous wrath on Zeus and the entire pantheon of divine manipulators; before the swift and terrible mechanical creatures that catered for centuries to the pitiful idle remnants of Earth's human race began massing in the millions, to exterminate rather than serve.

Rushed ending spoils the whole thing
Revisado: 08-08-19
If I didnt already have so many hours invested, the book would have been fine. it drags on with so much potentially amazing stuff building up and then bam!, "and they all lived happily ever after" WTF Dan. He paints the most beautiful picture over two books and then drops it in a puddle before its dry. This could have been my favorite series of all time. Emphasis on could have.

Historia
From the towering heights of Olympos Mons on Mars, the mighty Zeus and his immortal family of gods, goddesses, and demigods look down upon a momentous battle, observing - and often influencing - the legendary exploits of Paris, Achilles, Hector, Odysseus, and the clashing armies of Greece and Troy. Thomas Hockenberry, former 21st-century professor and Iliad scholar, watches as well. It is Hockenberry's duty to observe and report on the Trojan War's progress to the so-called deities who saw fit to return him from the dead.
