Mere Christianity is very thoughtful
Revisado: 11-03-24
CS Lewis is a famous and widely published Christian writer for good reason. This is one of the best treatments of basic Christian doctrine I have read.

Historia
George Marsden describes how Lewis gradually went from being an atheist to a committed Anglican - famously converting to Christianity in 1931 after conversing into the night with his friends, J. R. R. Tolkien and Hugh Dyson - and how Lewis delivered his wartime talks to a traumatized British nation in the midst of an all-out war for survival.

of great interest to those looking for the Savior
Revisado: 08-11-18
Starting shortly after the Day of Pentecost, this narrative takes the reader through all the ages of the Christian church and explains in clear language the falling away, the reformation, the great awakening, and the beast power foretold by Daniel and The Revelation. Moving into the future readers are alerted to beware of the development of the final trials of Gods servants, and given scriptural evidence with cogent explanations to warn of specific dangers to the soul, and ways to prepare for the delusions of the evil one so that none may be taken unaware. The final chapters chronicle the last judgement, the destruction of evil, and the re-creation of the earth with the triumph of God's love.
