Historia
The entirety of Olive Township is looking forward to the fast-approaching day when Daisy St. James will say "I do" to the town golden boy. There’s just one little catch. Daisy isn’t in love. Her impending nuptials are transactional in nature, and that suits Daisy just fine. She learned the hard way a long time ago that true love does not exist, so what does it matter if her marriage is a farce?

I love a small town romance!!
Revisado: 04-30-25
These two are everything!! All the little moments between them had my heart! They both are going through some tough challenges and the connection they further make because of it was everything and more!
The audiobook was so amazing! I love when I feel so involved in the characters and the storyline. The narrators truly outdid themselves! They captured Penn and Daisy’s characters so well. I felt as if I really got to know these characters and who they are. Also absolutely LOVEDDD how the narrators created a deeper dynamic between our characters. They already have a history and being back in each other’s lives and you truly get to see that longing and tension even more through this audio!

Historia
Ten years later, I'm back on the island for my best friend's wedding as her maid of honor. Who's the first person I literally stumbled into? Riley Dixon. Even worse? He's the groom's best man and a self-made billionaire to boot. Being forced to spend an entire week together for wedding festivities quickly leads to more—hot hate sex, late nights of sneaking out, and unexpected revelations. The boy I knew a decade ago is gone, and the hate becomes… something else entirely. And I begin to wonder if Riley is hiding some secrets of his own.

Full of tension and swoon feelings!!
Revisado: 10-29-24
This book was such a breath of fresh air. There are so many aspects to this book, the characters, the storyline that I just absolutely loved!! This series overall is such a fun and sexy read.
The chemistry and tension between Riley and Lu was everything! You could tell that things picked right up from where they left it. And even though Riley ended things previously and Lu still feels for him she did not let this man off easy as she should!! And yall the spice… I’m still not over it. I never knew I needed Riley in my life.
I ended up listening to the audiobook for this one as it just released and I highly recommend it!!
I feel like I could go on and on about my love for this book and the characters. You’ve outdone yourself Jessica!! I’m obsessed

People say the devil has many faces, but I know only one. Julian Lopez—my childhood rival and family frenemy. I vow to steer clear of him while recovering from my broken engagement, but then the billionaire makes an irresistible offer. Renovate a historic house together and triple our profits. Our temporary truce becomes compromised as we face years’ worth of denied attraction and mixed emotions. Giving into our desire is inevitable...but falling in love? That isn’t part of the plan.

my new favorite read of the year!!
Revisado: 11-07-23
Lauren Asher truly outdid herself with this book. I fell so in love with the characters and their story. Truly a mastermind.
Julian and Dahlia have such a strong dynamic that builds their chemistry the more time they spend together. There’s a bit of history between them and long lasting feelings that linger as they are brought back together.
I cant get enough of them. Really wishing I could go back and read for the first time. There were so many moments that have been on my mind 24/7!!
I loved seeing Dahlia’s growth. In beginning we follow her and she is coming back to Lake Wisteria after her engagement ends. This relationship and the media that comes along with it has taken a toll on her. While Julian helps her find her along she discovers she must learn to trust herself.
I was fortunate enough to receive an audio arc of this book and WOW. This audiobook has a duet narration and I loved every second. The duet narrations added so much to the experience and characters. It made listening to this story more immersive and I couldn’t stop listening!
Thank you to Lauren Asher and Valentine PR for the arc !!

Historia
As one of the few witches in Britain, Mika Moon knows she has to hide her magic, keep her head down, and stay away from other witches so their powers don’t mingle and draw attention. And as an orphan who lost her parents at a young age and was raised by strangers, she’s used to being alone and she follows the rules...with one exception: an online account, where she posts videos "pretending" to be a witch. She thinks no one will take it seriously.

your new whimsical read
Revisado: 10-25-23
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
This book is the perfect fall read. It is so whimsical, warm, and magical. I truly felt such comfort the further I got into the book.
This book follows our main character Mika Moon. She must hide her magical abilities from the world and avoid drawing any attention to herself. Except for the fact she has an online account where she pretends to be a witch. Except one person sees her for what she truly is. And reaches out to Mika for her help in teaching three young witches at the Nowhere House. While there are many risks to taking the offer she does and finds herself in the presence of a new found family.
One aspect I loved in this book is the family Mika found in the those at the Nowhere House. All there to raise and give these young witches a home. I loved getting to know each character in the home and learning their stories. They all truly became on big family.
Being a reader who loves a grumpy love interest our love interest in this book, Jamie who might I add is a librarian, had me from the start. While the romance isn’t the main part of the plot I was living for every scene Mika and Jamie had together. They truly found their person within each other.
I adore Mika so incredibly much. She has such a kind heart and is patient. You learn a lot about her childhood and how that shaped her into who she is. But also see her learn that despite her childhood and how she grew up she deserves the love that Nowhere House shows her.
Along with physically reading this book I also listened to the audiobook. Which I highly recommend listening to! It adds to the warmth and coziness of this book.
