Doing this alone would take months or even years, but you don't have to do it alone, which is where this book helps.

This is a very complete guide. I wish I'd had it before I started the game. The author gives very good tips and tricks for every aspect of the game. My favorite part of this book was the strategy listed for selecting a team of Pokemon. This book may be better than the game at this point.
