Historia
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.

Well....
Revisado: 10-28-16
I liked book 1 but book two was totally unnecessary. Book three drove me nuts. Such a fickle main character. I seriously screamed at her to just make up her mind, pick the right guy and acknowledge her love. Good grief. This story could have been told in one book instead of three if we took all the back and forth between the two guys out.

I surprised myself by liking this one.
Revisado: 10-26-16
I went in to this book with doubts. It's a cross between the post-American downfall of Hunger Games and Cinderella. That being said, once I started it, I couldn't stop listening until it was done. I even downloaded book two and three when one left me hanging on the cliff with what was gonna happen.
On a side note...as a decisive person, I'm annoyed by the main character's indecisiveness about what she's feeling. I guess I've been married too long and forgotten the teenage angst feelings. Lol.

A great closing to a great series.
Revisado: 05-06-16
What made the experience of listening to Frankenstein, Book Five: The Dead Town the most enjoyable?
I am really sad to say goodbye to the characters in this book series.
And some writers fizzle out during a series, but not Dean Koontz. He was strong from beginning to end. I think he really sits back and thinks about what his readers want and need from a story.
This was a satisfying and lovely end to a great series of books. Read/listen to them all. I promise you won't be sorry.

Love it!
Revisado: 05-06-16
What did you love best about Frankenstein, Book Four: Lost Souls?
This book series took a classic story and put a fun, sci-fi, supernatural modern spin on it.
I would venture to say that this is one of the best series' out there. Dean Koontz wrote characters that you not only grow to love, but that you want to be. You want to share a piece of their fantastic adventure. You go on this crazy, wild, messed up journey with them and you love every second.
Be prepared to listen to the whole series. The characters evolve as much as the story does. I was sad that it was over after the last book. But the good news about books is you can just start all over again when you want to.
