The story is very much a Thriller
Revisado: 04-11-25
The Author hit the spot with a great story. She threw you into action from the very first paragraph. I enjoyed listening to a thriller that did not have to have blood and guts everywhere but still kept you on your toes. I love the ending, I didn’t guess the way it would all turn out which was very enjoyable. The last sentence was my favorite!!

Kathleen is busy running the library and planning her upcoming wedding to detective Marcus Gordon when she suddenly stumbles across a body in the library. She is surprised to learn that the deceased was in the middle of an unlikely heist—it seems he was trying to steal one of the paintings that had been in a box in the library's workroom. Kathleen never knew any of the library's rotating artwork was valuable and can't imagine what the dead man wanted with it.

Historia
I’m falling for the father of the baby I’m carrying. The problem is: it’s not my baby. And the broody widower is not looking for a long-term partner. As a surrogate, the deal was that I’d only be in England long enough to give birth. At first, the man seemed as pretentious as his name: Sigmund Benedictus. He and I butted heads. Sig challenged my intentions, accused me of just wanting to do this for the money. Gradually, he learned to trust me.

Almost There
Revisado: 06-09-24
I really like how this story began. It caught my interest right away, But then it’s slow down quickly and became less interesting because it slowed so much. I would love the story without all the ridiculous sexual add-ons. It just took away from the story. In my opinion If I knew this was gonna be mostly a sex book ie romance novel, I would never have ordered it. You have good writing skills and a good story, but you didn’t, need all the crazy sex thrown.

Historia
Xanthe has always had an affinity with some of the antiques she finds. When she touches them, she can sense something of the past they come from and the stories they hold. When she has an intense connection to a beautiful silver chatelaine, she has to know more. It is while she’s examining the chatelaine that she’s transported back to the 17th century, where it has its origins. She discovers there is an injustice in its history. The spirit that inhabits her new home confronts her and charges her with saving her daughter’s life, threatening to take Flora’s if she fails.

Revisado: 04-11-24
I was looking for a new author that I haven’t read before and an interesting story with a little bit of twist and thriller thrown in and I’m glad I chose this book and this author. Unfortunately, it was so interesting. I ended up staying up all night to finish the book instead of going to bed. I like that there was more than one antagonist. The story moved around a lot so that you didn’t get bored with the same story you hear put together over and over. Like you have to have an antagonist, You have to have a love interest. You have to have a main character. It was all enjoyable.

Historia
Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College-Violet included. But Threshing was only the first impossible test meant to weed out the weak-willed, the unworthy, and the unlucky. Now the real training begins, and Violet’s already wondering how she’ll get through. It’s not just that it’s grueling and maliciously brutal, or even that it’s designed to stretch the riders’ capacity for pain beyond endurance. It’s the new vice commandant, who’s made it his personal mission to teach Violet exactly how powerless she is–unless she betrays the man she loves.

I was lucky enough get two books available at the same time, because forget about what i planned to do while I listened, i was pulled into the story fast and the last thing i wanted to do was chores while i listened, i just melted into a chair and hours later i realized i better put it down to get my work done. I kept telling myself, three chores and you can listen more, Lol. It wad the only way i could get myself work instead of listening all day. I cant wait for book 3 to come out! Really great Author

A Miracle Jews Survived at all
Revisado: 05-27-23
Horrible topic Great story! I have never fully understood how hard the survivors had to fight to just keep their sanity.
I totally understand that if the police showed up and took us all in a moments time to the very brink of dispare, how my mind would not be able to grasp what is happening, but having no experience to this reality makes it hard to embrace, and grasp what kind of terror that would be.
I appreciate all the research and time this Author took to bring this story, though historical fiction for the outline, factual experiences for the main part to help me understand the full extent of the horrendous physical and emotional toll it took on every age affected, infant to aged!

Historia
The fourth book in the best-selling The World Walker series. Does absolute power corrupt absolutely? Maybe Seb Varden is in a good position to find out. Depending on your point of view, he has either spent a few days, six months, or 17 years playing a potentially deadly game. At stake: the freedom of the alien who saved his life, the future of all intelligent species in the universe, and his sanity. Not only does Seb not fully understand the rules, but it's just possible the game itself is rigged.

Too Forced
Revisado: 02-28-23
I rarely post a negative review, however I felt strongly that this had to be said. Too much detail went on for chapter after chapter after well you know. I just wanted to get down to the main characters and waited way too long. Usually two chapters in a strong story begins to wrap around the characters an you a swiftly swept away to some wonderful fiction. This was the case in books one through three. I couldn’t wait to drift away into a wonderful fiction were I’d already gotten to be friends with the main characters, however not this time. Fifteen chapters in I was still in my mind was still in a. Whirl wondering when he was going to pull me in. I’m sad that the last book left a bad taste in my mouth all but the last chapter. I hope sainsbury improves in his next novels.
