Beware of harsh language!

Language was cringeworthy. There were too many crazy unbelievable stories happening at the same time. Characters didn’t seem to mesh well together. I’ve listened to a couple of stories by this author and I think it was just bad.

I have tried to listen to this 3 times. The story really drags. It is the 1st book in the series but I feel like I’m trying to catch up. The voice characterization is really hard to get past.

The crimes were intriguing and left me wanting to listen more until the case was solved. The back story of the characters was fun to follow the progression.
