Historia
Before he was nicknamed “Sting” by the leader of a local show band in northeast England, Gordon Sumner knew he was meant for more than his working-class background promised. He just didn’t know how to get there. In Upon Reflection, hear the singular talent trace his unlikely rise from his days as a young husband and father working as a local schoolteacher, to risking everything on a fateful move to London, and joining an aspiring punk band called The Police.

Natural conversation way of audio book
Revisado: 05-01-21
Loved it!, so interesting to hear his story and inspirations. Sting natural way of taking you through his journey engages you from the beginning. Wish it was longer, tad short and felt he missed out a lot of stories and career choices or family, philosophy wanted more.
Wonderful story though.

Historia
Today’s mothers are struggling, though it's not for the reasons most moms tend to think. We’ve been conditioned to believe our inadequacy is the reason we can’t seem to “keep up” or enjoy mothering more, but nothing could be further from the truth. We aren’t failing as mothers. We’re mothering within a culture that is misleading and inadequately supporting us. Motherwhelmed is a deep, yet lighthearted exploration of the messy frontier of modern-day motherhood we’re all struggling to navigate.

Self help book that's a life saver for all mothers
Revisado: 05-13-20
This audiobook kept me riveted the whole way through, couldn't stop listening. The author shares her personal journey that is so relatable to mothers living in a tribe less community less society. Sharing self care techniques and teaching us to slowly mother ourselves is the message of this book. To be a good mother is to take time for ourselves and not be guilty. Beth brings to light the overwhelmed mothers that we all are and helps us realize that it's ok not to be perfect and loving our kids is sometimes just enough. Love this book will hand it to all my mother friends.

No new information just raving about a male world
Revisado: 10-05-18
Just raving about a male world. ..greatly disappointed in this book. Thought this was going to be advice and exercises to help women be empowered. Just a book ranting about facts of how women are less than...felt so horrible while listening. Wish the author had chosen to help empower women with skills and techniques of managing the feminine and being a mother and workplace instead of all her rating.

Historia
These affirmations were specifically created to help heal the unconscious belief systems responsible for low self-esteem - low-self worth - guilt - shame - fear - and primarily codependency. All relationships in life are mirrors of the relationship we have with Self. The relationship we have with Self is the result of the value or lack of - we absorbed about Self when children. If when we were children and forming ideas about Self - we were taught to believe we had no worth - then our ideas about Self are fractured.
