I went into this book with no expectations, but, Wow! This may be my favorite book by this author to date. WOW!

Otto & Raven were everything. Otto is a top tier book boyfriend. There's so much to him, and many layers you have to peel it to get to his softer side. He wants nothing but to protect the ones he loves and he does just that. Raven is beautiful, strong, sassy, fierce, determined and stubborn. She's been through hell and back but, boy she doesn't back down or give up no matter how hard things get. Otto and Raven as individuals and together, are just chef’s kiss! The build up to them, or I should say Otto, finally giving into what they've been waiting for forever, was so satisfying. These two are way more than I could have ever imagined. Gods, they were PERFECT for each other. The connection, energy, chemistry, love, it was all magnetic.

I had the privilege of listening to this book on audio and what an experience. Connor Crais & Desiree Ketchum are always a pleasure to listen to. Fantastic narration from these two. This book is a must read that’s filled with emotion, love, and suspense. It felt like home to me. You will fall in love with them and it’s so worth it!

I love, love, love A.L. Jacksons books so much! She so easily sucks me into the story, her writing is always top notch, and the characters, Gods, they’re always such a great group. This was one emotional and wild ride. Charleigh and River as individuals are great. Charleigh is sweet, brave, SO strong, and unbelievably kind. I just wanted to hug her the entire time. River, holy hot dads, I loved River. He’s fierce, willing to do anything for anyone, protective, and he loves the heck out of Charleigh and Nolan. Together Charleigh and River are such a great couple who have such intense chemistry. They’re a perfect match and from the second that they meet you can tell that they’re meant to be together. And Nolan? What a sweet, sweet kid. I loved every single interaction that we had with him!

I had the pleasure of listening to this on audio and it was great! Andi Arndt & Austin Stone⁣ were our narrators for this book. As always Andi Arndt was a pleasure to listen to and I’m pretty sure that I haven’t listened to anything else that Austin Stone has narrated, but he did a fantastic job. I thought they fit the character so well!

This is such a great start to her news series Moonlit Ridge. I can't wait to read more about this tight knit group!

Obsessive, possessive, and oh so hot!

This is my first ever time reading something by this author, and it definitely will not be my last. I'm already ready to dive into the rest of the books in this series. Lincoln and Monroe are hot and fiery from the very beginning. Though he’s unbelievably manipulative and quite messed up, I was literally swooning over Lincoln. Now we won't go into what that says about me; but I absolutely loved how much he was obsessed with Monroe. Monroe’s unbelievably sweet, kind, and would literally do anything for anyone. She is one hard-working, kick-ass, and such a strong girl, whose story literally broke my heart.

I will forever be in my hockey romance era. Considering this is also a dark romance, this made my little bookish heart incredibly happy. This book is exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been in such a slump for the past month. It felt so good to read something that I was so sucked into! I love, love, loved it!

This was my first read by this author and I’m really not sure what to think of this book. So first of all, I really can’t say that this is a romance book. Because there’s no way that it is. There’s just no romance in it. If you know me by now you know that I enjoy reading dark romance. But this was on another kind of level. There is no romance in this book. Nada, nothing. It was dark, twisty, extremely heart wrenching, a little upsetting and very disturbing. On the other hand I am very intrigued to see how the rest of the series plays out. And under everything listed before, it interested and engaged me enough to want me to read the next book in the series, I just hope that it goes in a different direction than this book went in.

I’m really unsure how to rate this book honestly. I enjoyed it but this book was really heavy. I feel emotionally drained after reading this though and eager to start reading book two. If you are a LOVER of dark romance and have the stomach to read something that will question why you're reading this book in the first place then this is for you. This was an absolutely mind blowing read for me. Talk about pushing the limits here this definitely did that for me. This book is by no means for the faint of heart. Please be wary before picking this book up!!!

Obsessive and possessive? Yes please!

There's nothing that I love more than morally gray men who are obsessive, possessive and k1nky. Praise to all the book Gods that these hockey men really know how to turn your insides to mush, because my belly did the thing quite a few times while reading this book. I don’t think there will be a time where I don’t love a delicious hockey romance. Sydney, Carter, Penn, and Oliver have all such an interesting dynamic together as a group. Every single one of those guys are completely different from one another which really makes it easy to understand why they all fit so well together. They each give Sydney something that the others can’t. And it’s done so well.

This book is dark dark. So make sure to check the triggers before picking this book up! I mean, I’m a big advocate and a humongous fan of dark romance. But some of the stuff the guys did in this book definitely took me aback, especially Oliver. And because of that and to really appreciate and enjoy the story I took my time reading this book. It is a book you can read fairly quickly, though it has over 500 pages it’s easy to read and has short chapters, which I love and appreciate. If you’re looking for something really dark, that’s easy to read and has unhinged hockey guys then this is the book for you. It’s smutty as hell, has hockey players and is so intriguing. Highly recommend!

My very first book by this author and I absolutely adored it. I loved everything about this book. The story and characters really got to me. There were a ton of people to try and keep track of which was a little difficult to do, but I loved seeing how much love and passion that not only Chloe and Justin had for each other, but also every single person that was included in this story. Chloe and Justin are unbelievably adorable and you can see from the very beginning how much these two truly belong together. This was definitely a different spin on a motorcycle club that I’ve read before. But I’m not mad about it. Most motorcycle romances that I read are pretty dark and dangerous but this one was not like that at all.

My only complaint about this book is that it was told in third person which made reading this book extremely difficult and took me quite a while to get through because I HATE this type of narration. I always find it so confusing especially when they’re referring to themselves while they’re narrating. It’s just not my cup of tea. Because this was my first book by this author, and I went in blind and I was somewhat surprised with the narration style. There are only a few authors who write in the third person pov that I really enjoy.

Besides, that, I really did enjoy this book. The audio for this book was fantastic. Savannah Peachwood & Aiden Snow did a phenomenal job bringing these characters to life. I always enjoy listening to these two narrators they have wonderful voices!

How does she do this every single time?? This author has such a way with words and always tells her stories in such a beautifully lyrical way. I just love it. Somehow, every story in this series gets better and better each time.

Everything and I mean absolutely everything was fantastic. The writing, story, and characters have been etched into my soul. I absolutely love Hailey and Cody. They are such a dynamic duo who have such intense feelings for one another. I absolutely loved watching their love blossom into something so beautiful from beginning to end. Hailey is so unbelievably sweet and just wants to have and create the best life for her daughter that she can. And she does just fine because she’s a fantastic mother. As for Cody? My goodness, did I love this man. He is unbelievably self-confident and a huge flirt, but when it comes to Hailey, he’s a big pile of goo. Don’t even get me started with Hailey’s daughter Maddie. She is such a little firecracker and the relationship that Cody really embraced with her, was like the cherry on the top. I mean I truly melted like a popsicle and a hot summer day. Their little relationship is to die for and absolutely adorable.

I really enjoyed this story and I especially loved listening to it on audio. As always, the audiobook experience never fails to make my reading experience 10 times better. Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter did such a great job bringing these two characters to life. I thought they were such a great choice to voice these two characters.

The end of this book definitely got me, I definitely shed a few tears. It was so good to see some of my favorite characters again. This was another fantastic read by this author. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for an easy, fast, and steamy contemporary romance read.
