I highly recommend this most exciting book. To watch Isaac grow before my very ears, was exciting and enriching. The struggles he encountered, first the journey, then in his new environment, and then within himself, were engaging and meaningful. I found myself anticipating one outcome, then cheering for Isaac as he bore the worst and emerged the stronger. It left me wanting to follow this character further. It was also interesting to hear the author describe a long ago version of two places I know well, VA and Philadelphia. I am looking forward to hearing this author read his sequels to this book.
