First, the only Kingpin was Cross. This was Trap Star Love Chronicles. Second, how do u end a story without finishing it? I have so many questions. Where is Pierre? What happens with the Pastor? Is the baby Tim’s? Does Erica stay? What about Nicole? How do u go from suicide attempt to shopping? That’s a reckless image to portray. U have got to be kidding me.

The ending was …abrupt

I don’t write reviews but I had to this time. This book was written like a script with a season-end cliffhanger. A lot of details were missing. Not once could I imagine the setting because nothing was described. (we’re not watching it!)
A lot was left in the air and I hope the following installment answers those questions.

Shameek, please proof the audio from now on. You didn’t spend this much time writing to have it butchered.
Cousins, I couldn’t concentrate wondering if she was supposed to say Zoey Pound or Zoe Pound (pronounced like Zo…you know, like the actual Haitians?). Part of me hopes not because they started and live in Miami, not Haiti.
I am usually easy on the narrators because it’s a difficult job to do. It’s acting - ur good or ur not - but 1) do some research on accents and words used in other cultures bcuz I am lightweight offended (how do u mess up English, French, Creole and Spanish?…just WOW!) 2) rewind and listen to yourself lady so you can stop stuttering, repeating sentences and mispronouncing words 3) read some erotica, watch some porn, practice curse words, ion know but the sex scenes sounded like you were scared 4) find a mentor that is a great narrator - Cary Hite, L. Stephen Taylor, Nicole Small, anybody bcuz, beloved, you get an E for effort.

Shameek is the only reason I toughed this out. She sounded like my 4th grade media teacher Ms. Barry reading Goodnight Moon.
The brokest chick on earth does not pronounce Louis Vuitton by saying Lewis. I had to stop and walk away when she pronounced the gun like rutt-ger. Wtf? The T is silent and she should be too. Esto no es bueno. The irony of her reading the line…

This book was all over the place

I loved 1-4 but 5 lost me more than once. Mr Gates was phenomenal as always but the storyline was difficult to follow. I had to back up a lot... It’s full of backstory. I would have loved if it picked up where 4 left off (heavy sigh).
