I love sparky romance with a bit of mystery and this is right within those lines. There is plenty of fun, spicy romance and tists.

I was nervous about the ending after reading other reviews, but I didn't feel the ending was clipped. this story follows other similar paths of Jayne Ann/Amanda's other stories. I found the story delightful and full of twists and turns. I have only been listening to books released on Audible and am fairly new to this author, so I've loved having the earlier books in the series available. These books fill in some gaps and make the later books that much more enjoyable. LOVE the narrator!

Nice start to new series

I enjoyed this book. It's not something in my top 10 loves of all books, but it's a romantic happily ever after with some twists and turns. I love Jayne's books because they aren't gory, full of demented killers and death and destruction. I'll definitely be buying book 2.

I'll admit, I got this one on sale and thought if nothing else it would be a good cheesy laugh. There was actually more heart to this story than I thought there would be. I did laugh as well, but not only because of the cheese. Fun book! I'm even going to use credits to buy the next ones.

Why the foul language?

I love Sarah McLean books and have listened to 9 Rules at least 20 times, but recently the language has become quite foul in her books. For the Bare Knuckle Bastards I thought "oh, ok, they are rough and tough." It just seems so unnecessary to me in this series though (maybe I'm in the minority). I read for an escape. I can walk down the street and hear people cussing, I don't need Audible for that.

Other than that the book is great! It's fun, smart and witty. It's just not one I would listen to over and over.

Keep getting better and better!

I'm a fan of Mull's other books with Beyonders being one of my all time favorite series. This latest addition to Fablehaven does not disappoint. There are many interwoven pieces working together. Yes, this is marked as a "kids book", but as an adult I found it highly entertaining. I love that Kendra and Seth are so different and yet compliment each other so well. Everyone has a role to play in life. Just because someone doesn't react the same as you does not mean they are bad or wrong. Bravo!

Stacey did better with this one than the last one and pronounced No-tay...yay!! Story line is good and it's fun to have other characters return, but there were gaps. Maybe I missed it but what happened with Julius and Marguerite's baby? She was ready to pop last book and then nothing in this one. I enjoy reading about the new couples and am excited for Stephanie's story, but I really enjoy the continuation of the previous couples and missed that here.

Another win for Molly Harper

Mystic Bayou is growing into such a tight knit town and I love it! the story is a great addition to the mystic family. I was so pleasantly surprised to see a new release today. If you've enjoyed the other books in the series this is a great addition. if you haven't read any books in the series start with book 1 and be prepared to laugh and enjoy.

My favorite so far

Let me start with these books aren't for everyone. There are some inconsistencies between the books, but these are paranormal and a great escape. I absolutely love the interaction with the family in this one. It's great to see the bond of the family and how they are there for each other. Marguerite is so loving and such a spitfire in her own way. She's not outwardly aggressive but everyone knows not to cross her. If you're looking for an escape with a HEA(happily ever after) this is the series to try.
