It gave me a biblical solution to the mess I'm in. It also gave me hope that God is not done with me yet. Divorce is the death of my marriage, but also all the hopes, dreams and plans my ex-wife and I had. It feels like a death in the family.

This was a great book! I will re-read it maybe multiple times. The concept of exiles and how we relate to them is very easy to understand. This was the first time I heard about IFS therapy.

what a testament to the love and power of Jesus Christ! This book has blessed me in so many different areas. My bestfriend in high school was Muslim. I wish I could've spoken more to him about Jesus.

Ever since I can remember I have had a "drawing" towards God. As God has cultivated that calling within me, I've developed a deep love, admiration, and esteem for the Jewish people. I have never really shared that with people because I did not understand it. and it seemed weird. However, after reading this book and listening to Rabbi Sobel's teaching I have concluded that the Christian believers and Messianic Jews are supposed to be united and in one accord in order to advance Yeshua the Messiahs kingdom. It makes so much sense now! I love the Ruth and Boaz explanation that Rabbi Sobel gave of the unity God wants between Jews and Christian's in Jesus Christ. Over and over, after reading the book and learning the details I feel like the disciples on the road to Emaus that their hearts burned within them as He opened their understanding of the Scriptures. Thank you Rabbi Sobel. I hope to meet you one day. Shalom! God bless Israel!

I became a kingdom man!

God used the teachings in this book to bring me out of spiritual lethargy. Although, I did not want to let my children and wife to become another casualty of a broken family, I did not know what to do or help the situation. I slowly saw my children to begin losing faith in Christ and my wife desperately trying to wake me up. I've read the book 3 times now and plan to keep reading more times! As I began walking by faith and applying the principles to my life and family the blessings were instant. There was finally peace in my home! I aligned under Christ and my wife and children quickly aligned under me. I stopped copping with any substance to treat my stress and I began running to Christ like my wife ran to me for protection. Although I was saved, I had not experienced deliverance from habitual sin. I demanded that God help me and protect me and I agreed with Him that He would have to provide any relief I might need and anything else. What happened next was a miracle! Because I walked by faith in what God was teaching me, the holy spirit began breaking down every stronghold in my mind. I didnt dare to say "no" to God anymore. He delivered me from my habitual sin instantly when I believed. He helped me repent and opened a whole new world that I never knew existed in the supernatural realm where my circumstances didnt matter, the only thing that mattered was that I was following the holy spirit's leading and guidance in my heart. Too much to share here. But God used this book as a catalyst to wake me up and take on my God given responsibility to protect my family. God bless you Dr. Evans. My wife and 3 sons thank you too.

could not stop listening! very relatable. Goggins challenges you to not live a mediocre life. Instead to push yourself to new limits.
