I am an introvert. I always feel uncomfortable in social situations and public speaking. I find this audiobook very helpful in navigating social activities, including networking, that are necessary in life. It gives many tips and pointers for different aspects of networking, such as starting a conversation with a small talk (but to quickly move beyond small talk), joining a conversation in a group, changing your mindset to overcome the introvert tendencies, etc. The author points out the strengths of an introvert, which is encouraging to me. Some of the points are common sense, but can be reassuring that my thinking had been right all along. The book is not very long and can be listened to in one sitting. However, since there is a lot of information, it would be helpful to take notes along the way. The narrator has a pleasant voice and speaks clearly, with a confident and encouraging tone. I think this book can help introverts improve their social skills.

This is a short audio book that summarizes the physiological tactics people can use to manipulate and abuse others and how to identity and guard against them. This book is introductory. It doesn't provide a lot of details, examples of case studies. For a casual listener who is curious about the topic, I think it is sufficient. The narrator speaks clearly and has a nice voice, reminiscent of instructional voices we might hear in an airline safety video or a documentary. The tone is fittingly serious. I enjoyed listening to this audio book and learned a few things in a short amount of time.

Any additional comments?

This audiobook is exactly what it says it is. It has short stories for beginner Spanish learners. I like the vocabulary reviews and summaries of the stories. I think it will be better to review the vocabularies first, before reading the stories, though. The stories and vocabularies are varied. The stories are fun and relevant. I enjoyed the narration and the audiobook format is very helpful, because I have problems with Spanish pronunciations. By listening to this audiobook, I feel confident to follow the pronunciations of the narrator. The accompanying PDF document is crucial for me to make this audiobook useful.
