Historia
Less than three months have passed since Captain Charlotte Omandi and the crew of Earth’s first starship, the TSS Bladerunner, narrowly prevented an extinction-level event from wiping out humanity. Omandi knows Earth remains on borrowed time, until she meets with leaders of the Galactic Confederation to convince them that our planet no longer represents a threat. As she and her crew prepare to become the first humans to travel outside our solar system, a string of assassination attempts lead them to an unlikely mystery.

Outstanding and utterly addictive

As a full time artist after 33 years as an advertising creative I was used to a lot of background noise and interruption. So when I started painting full time from home I started listening to audio books to fill in the noise so to speak. I'm embarrassed to say it only took 2 days to finish this. Engaging, entertaining, diverse and with buckets of character depth. I loved the inclusion of sarcasm, tolerance and irony and as a sci-fi fan (especially dr Who and Bladerunner) this ticks all my boxes. First one was good but this one just awesome. No guess's to what I'm downloading next.

Historia
Zachary Ezra Rawlins is a graduate student in Vermont when he discovers a strange book hidden in the library stacks. As he turns the pages, entranced by tales of lovelorn prisoners, key collectors, and nameless acolytes, he reads something strange: a story from his own childhood. Bewildered by this inexplicable book and desperate to make sense of how his own life came to be recorded, Zachary uncovers a series of clues that lead him to a masquerade party in New York, to a secret club, and through a doorway to a subterranean library, hidden far below the surface of the earth.

Historia
Dan Delgado is a private investigator. When it comes to finding cheating spouses, corporate thieves, or runaway teenagers, he’s unenthusiastic, and unmatched. As a former San Francisco detective, he misses more meaningful work, but he hasn’t had the heart for it since his wife’s death five years prior. That is, until a phone call from a distraught mother, an illegal immigrant who can’t go to the police, puts him on the hunt for a missing little girl. By the time he reaches the mother’s small home, she’s missing, too. The circumstances are strange....

I found it hard to tear myself away from it. Gripping, fast moving sci-fi at it’s best.
