The book is AMAZING! Chewing sounds... not so much

I loooove this series, so I've read it 5 times through, but this is the 1st time I've listened to the audio version. The narrator did a great acting job in the 1st book in the series, My Soul to Take, but in this one.... WHEW CHILE!! That smacking/chewing sound is dang near driving me crazy. It sounds like he may have been holding a peppermint, or cough drop in his mouth and it is definitely noticeable. I'm only on the 2nd chapter, so hopefully, this noise will subside.

The reader... ugh

I can't past the voice of the reader, and the way he's reading. He's overacting! It was so irritating. I'm gonna have to read the book, instead of listening.
