Great storytelling

Characters are complicated, it’s not just a bunch of random sex- it’s just the right amount of steam and tension and the post apocalyptic part is totally believable. Bring on Jan 4th for the next book!!’

Excellent narration

I wasn’t sure if I liked where this story was headed but I got invested in the story and the great narrators-
And ended up really enjoying it after all.
I now am choosing these dark romances based on the narrators. Oh so important. They can make a good story great and a great story unbearable!
The story was not a forgone conclusion like a lot of these books with a dark but sexy man and the innocent young women blah blah blah. The characters are complicated.
A very good escape!
