I liked the beginning of the book, the second half was lot of will they won't they until about 10% left where everything was very rushed.

not sure how to really feel about this book definitely read worse. I feel like there was a lot of issues between the couple throughout the book. But at some point it was getting a little ridiculous, they just kept piling on more and more tensions as the story went on and reasons that the couple couldn't be together. it was a tad over the top.

I have never really been a fan of this narrator. The whininess and self-pity really comes out when she narrates. She always says lines in a way that I wouldn't have read them and that I don't think really makes sense for the storyline. I decided to re-listen to this book and now remember why I stopped listening to books with this narrator.
I didn't love the FMC, the moments where she would push away the MC on purpose just kind of came out of left field and the way she did it didn't seem very realistic. She was very whiny and self-pitying, I get why, because that's what the stories kind of about but I don't think that's all she should have been and it seemed like that was the only aspects of her character.
