Historia
Today we travel to Romania where everything is terrifying and awesome. Come on, it's the birthplace of Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) and it's got one of the scariest forests on this planet. The Hoia Baciu forest is a place where the trees bend like a rule, there is a dead zone in the center that might be a portal to hell, it may have been the location of one of the earliest doomed Romanian settlements and a truly macabre slaughter may have taken place there. Need more? Trust us, there is an endless slew of mystery and terror lurking in this place. The locals won't go in there after night falls, ...

Obnoxious
Revisado: 02-06-23
It’s so annoying
to have to listen to 15 minutes of chit chat and commercials before the actual story begins. I love your tales and brief anecdotes in the middle of a story but you have to exercise some control because I’m not getting those minutes back and you stole it with the promise of a true crime story that you replaced with a solid 25 minutes of nonsense during an hour long episode. Come on.

Historia
Shortly before midnight on March 26, 2021, 70-year-old Sandra Eckert got into a fight with her husband. It wasn't their first, in fact, it may not have been their first that day. Sandra and her husband had remained in a mutually miserable marriage that was plagued by COVID quarantines, inheritance disputes, and other issues. So when Sandra and her husband's vehicle disappeared around 11:30 PM, it seemed possible that she left in anger and went to stay somewhere else. But just a few hours later, before her family knew anything was wrong, it became clear that Sandra didn't choose to ...

Love the pod hate the sound quality
Revisado: 07-13-22
First of all I love the show and the content is awesome but the sound quality and volume are terrible. I don’t know if it’s the type of audio files or the voice of the host but I feel like she’s always whispering and the recordings of the interviews are very low volume, which can’t be corrected with increasing the volume on my phone. Super frustrating!

Wel well well, you’ve made it to part three and are probably thinking, ok we’re almost done. We regret to inform you that you’re wrong. This just had to become 4 parts because THERE IS SO MUCH about this foul ghoulish man we just have to tell you or else Alaina would be kicking herself in the butt for years to come. Luckily, in this part we’re going to reach the point in time where Albert is apprehended by authorities, but somehow it only gets weirder. Are you holding on? To ya butts? A couple great and fascinating sources used for this episode! Deranged by Harold Shechter ...

This case is absolutely gut wrenching. These girls really do their research and include so much more than you can get from just googling someone’s name. They do their homework and they’re so entertaining. God bless you gals for absorbing all of the awful so you can give us just enough to keep us conscious for the next one. This one’s rough..well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
