Tyrone Power was as versatile in life as he was on the screen. He was a multifaceted man and was the last idol created by the vast star-making machine 20th Century Fox. Coming from a family of multi-generational actors, Tyrone Power broke the proverbial mold. His on-screen charisma in the 30s and 40s propelled him to the forefront of must-have actors. His on-screen accomplishments were many, yet he did not hesitate to enter the military when his country went to war. After the war, he continued in his career, but the years took their toll.

I didn't know too much about Tyrone Power before listening to this audiobook. I was very impressed with the narrator. The story was very well written – detailed but not overly dense. It covered, equally well, Tyrone's career, his personal relationships and his beautiful correspondences. A wonderful tribute!

Beautifully narrated by Priscilla, I felt like she was just chatting with me over coffee. Her voice is warm and personable and so natural. The story she tells is a beautiful and poignant one. A powerful tribute to the King. I highly recommend it.

I've listened to the first two stories. Amazing! Natural, thoughtful enunciation. Exceptional actors who are obviously professional readers - they never stress the wrong word or syllable. And they're so real and likeable! I REALLY love this.
