Historia
'Reason and imagination and all mental chatter died down... I forgot my name, my humanness, my thingness, all that could be called me or mine. Past and future dropped away... Lighter than air, clearer than glass, altogether released from myself, I was nowhere around.' Thus Douglas Harding describes his first experience of headlessness, or no self. First published in 1961, this is a classic work which conveys the experience that mystics of all times have tried to put words to.

No head
Revisado: 10-03-24
The book was excellent, full of insightful theories and ideas that resonated deeply. However, the author undermined it by including a chapter on God that felt disconnected from the rest of the content. It didn’t align with the otherwise logical flow of the book, and I’m puzzled as to why it was included. I truly loved the book up until that point.

I don’t know about this suffering thing
Revisado: 09-21-24
This book has great tools to use. The suffering philosophy towards the end of the book and it’s a little extreme. you’re falling into a another trap. you have to do this. You have to suffer. You have to pay the price. Everything is here you don’t need anything else, the price that you ask is already paid. I just had to notice and let go of all this conceptions. Was disappointed by the end of the book. But great tools until chapter 14
