SKIP IT! It's A Cowardly Account
Revisado: 05-18-23
The book is written from a loser’s perspective of indignation and alternate reality in which everyone is a victim and Vince McMahon is all things negative despite incredible known achievements. The book is over exaggerated by a female narrator with an obnoxious lisp (think: wretheling?) who’s unnecessary and deliberate voice cracks throughout, create a nerdy unwanted cuteness, like when your mom embarrassingly brags about you when you’re a young teenager about something you were more proud of until you heard her explain it. Alyss Weissglass should only narrate children’s books. The author, Reissman discredits himself in the overture and throughout each time he negatively mentions Donald Trump with the assumption that the more intelligent reader has accepted the false narratives that have been pushed in the mainstream media that have been disproven time and time again. The narrator salivates as she puts extra emphasis and tone whenever Trump is mentioned to make all things associated with him seem satanic. As the author, Reisman, denounces capitalism and McMahon’s over ambition for wealth, it is obvious that it is written in a way in hopes of attracting Hollywood producers and snobby out of touch intelligentsia so it might be created into a biopic movie in which the bafflingly arrogant author will receive his payday, and his pathetic existence can be justified to those he still seeks approval from; probably those in his personal life who know him to be a total dork and the critics who can easily see through his unintelligent attempts of influencing sheep minded people like himself. Maybe harsh, but the author’s ego has totally ruined what should have been a good read. I will never read another book by Reisman. I warn others to vet the narrator and make sure the book you chose for your adult self is not done by Weisglass. Otherwise, good story.

This is more than just an audiobook. It's an attitude. It's a mentality. It's a lifestyle. The F*It List is my journey, my life, my lessons, my successes, and my many failures...in my own words. The F*It List forces action. It promotes energy and gives life. It allows you to stand up for what you believe but also helps give perspective on external situations and opinions outside of your control. It's not always comfortable, and in many instances, it is downright scary. Yet, instead of searching for the meaning of life, you will be authentically living it.

Fun read with a ton of energy

A life story worth writing and worth reading. I could relate way more to the first part and was more interested in the baseball experience than I was with the last 20 chapters about running. If you're more into baseball, you'll enjoy it and won't feel bad putting the book down after chapter 110 or so.
