This book fires on all cylinders and addressed mommy boss issues head on! It’s packed with actionable strategic steps to take any budding mom boss to the next level. I love it so hard. Lindsay did that crap, she did it scared and imperfect but she did it anyway - I cant recommend her book enough because she is the voice in all our heads - sayin shit we haven’t been brave enough to say/ until now.

Thank you for this Lindsay- what a gift to the mompreneur .

Brain Rules covers it all!

I can imagine that approaching a subject like “how to I create the smartest best human I can” would be daunting. Somehow John Medina hits a home run in an entertaining and research based way. I’m expecting a baby in a couple months and I have a list of books to read but this book felt like several books in one. It covers relationship advise, baby sleep advise, personality development suggestions, pregnancy nurtrition and behavior advise... and much more, all of which are based on research and presented in a very entertaining and sometime full on hilarious way. I really recommend it- it would be at the top of my recommended books for expecting parents.

Highly recommended for all stepmothers

I wouldn’t recommend this book to you every single step mother out there, and I would recommend it to their husbands as well. Wednesday Martin does an excellent job of researching and understanding Expectations, social stigma, historical baggage around being a stepmother. I love the solution she presents.

Really grounded advice from a creative to creatives

I loved this book, I feel like it was a really beautiful combination of Ms. Gilbert’s beautiful writing style pulled it into a self-help book about how to be more creative. She’s the kind matriarchal voice of someone seasoned who knows how to not suffer through being an artist. I agree entirely with her take of the “struggling artist” and also want no part in it. She celebrates being sane and someone methodical in striving for creativity but also has creative solutions for shaking things up and getting ideas out into the world.

Hitchens is SO compelling!

Wow, if you want to hear a compelling reason religion is not innocuous, this is a great book. Hitchens makes extremely strong philosophical arguments for the damage religion inflicts on our society. It's worth a read to at least consider all sides of the "God" discussion.

Great overview

Pretty good, although it's super brief. I suppose that's the appeal, if you need a quick and dirty approach to affiliate marketing, it's logistical value and it's appeal, then this is the book for you. Good value.
