I'm very happy with the continuation series combining Ishmael , pip, Natalia, and Zoya. The characters match up with their thinking very well. it's nice that they have a problem to solve in the intelligence that gets tied into it. I love how I am able to reply some of these books to real life business at times.

The only downside is it does get a little repetitive with reminding The readers of where they came from. it seems like it happened quite frequently in this book Even though they briefly talked about it with characters in previous chapters.

I love the modern mix historical fiction. when I think of a light house keeper, I would've thought of someone older. I appreciate that she's only 30.

Kate rudd is the reason I downloaded and she did a great job. I'm going to check out more books from Cynthia now.

I really liked this story and descriptiveness. the only thing I think I may have done differently and after hearing the end I'm still not sure is alternating protagonist/chapters between Kai and Aven. I was constantly wondering what he thought about a lot of things.

loved this story- addicted and already on book 2

I tried listening to this book previously for only a couple minutes, but for some reason I wasn't in the mood. After I gave it more than 10-15 minutes (1-3 chapters), I was enveloped in the story. I like how descriptive the separation of the twins are. I don't think I liked that the books starts off in a dream or vision and I didn't get that at first.

perfect introduction to how Sarah Krug got on the Lois McKendrick. I think Sarahs punishing otto was misdirected and rushed at the end though.


I'm actually hoping that there's a third book in this series that follows Otto and changes in the shamans. and also to explain the original history of the welkies.

Wake up to the realities of suicidal thoughts

First off, the narrator was just ok to me. She got the job done, but I wasn't feeling everything that I thought I should throughout the book.

I love how vulnerable that Lacey got in this book. She was so pure is releasing her deepest thoughts into the world. It is obvious how Jesus made her whole. If she wasn't renewed spiritually, there is no way she could have been so open with her sins and restoration in Christ.

Jenny Simmons has inspired me

I listened to this book on audiable. I laughed and cried. I've been dealing with a little postpartum depression. during this book, my boss said that my attitude improved and that I was getting better. for awhile now, I've considered writing my story and sharing my journey. This book in a non direct way has caused me to start. Good bless Jenny.
