Covers all the major naval actions between Great Britain and Germany and a broad coverage of the U-boat campaigns and its implications and result, political and martial. Little coverage on German surface raiders. Details the political wrangling behind the scenes on both sides with focus on the British Admiralty. Covers the major events of the war interlaced within the story and the impact of naval policy of both adversaries. Well written and researched. With first rate narration.

This is it! As pirate history aficionado. This is a great book to jump into. Centered on Ben Hornigold, Blackbeard and Charles Vane’s activities. It brings to center the attempt at the short lived “ Pirates Republic” and Captain Woodes Rogers rise to rid the Bahamas of pirates. A yarn worth ye time, mateys.

Smashing Rendition of the Game!

This is the best and most excellent and first rate twist on the Holmes-Moriarty game. Fun and incredibly entertaining. The twist was well executed and Monaghan, Boyd and LaMarr voice performances are spot on!

Excellent! Gallagher really hits the base and core.

If you want a clear base understanding as best you can garner and comprehend without an exhaustive self study of the US Civil War. This is it. Professor Gallagher has the best pulse on the analysis of the war and it’s precepts. As a perpetual student on the subject his course and arguments have certainly brought into line to confirm some truths and perspectives for me on many aspects of the conflict; The politics, military operations and the morality and ethical issues. The natural delivery and style of narration and keeping on subject is refreshing experience. Excellent job! First Rate! Another excellent great course!
