What a beautiful storyline! And the Narration?! Fantastic!
Revisado: 03-22-25
I haven’t even finished the book yet. I’m only 3 quarters in but I had to write this review! It grabs you from the first page and keeps you listening waaay past bedtime. The back-&-forth narration between Kenna & Ledger provides insight on how the same situation affects them as individuals. It’s a realistic storyline that touches you; makes you laugh out loud and feel for the characters. If you’re looking for a great book to listen to and don’t mind the “F” Bomb, then this is the book for you! You won’t regret it!

A fantastic read!
Revisado: 01-30-25
This book is amazing with a gripping storyline that will hold your attention well past bedtime!! I love the narrator and enjoy how she unfolds the story. If you find read/listen to “Pieces es of Her” and find you enjoyed the story, do yourself a favor and read/listen to Karin Slaughter’s “Girl, Forgotten”. These books are not considered a series, per se, but they are related and continues with the storyline. Both are fantastic reads and you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!! 😉🤗

A MUST READ….but first…
Revisado: 01-30-25
This book is an incredible read; however, do yourself a favor and read Karin Slaughters “Pieces of Her” first. These are not Series reads, but they are related and “Pieces of Her” is somewhat a Prequel to this book, that I found by accident. Both are amazing reads, but “Pieces of Her” will provide some understanding to “Girl Forgotten”. Trust me, you’ll thank me later 😉🤗

Historia
At first glance, Natalie Cavanaugh and Glenn Abbott hardly look like sisters. Even off-duty, Natalie dresses like a Boston cop, preferring practical clothes and unfussy, pinned-up hair. Her younger sister, Glenn, seems tailor-made for the spotlight, from her signature red mane to her camera-ready smile. Glenn has spent years cultivating her brand through her baking blog, and with the publication of her new book, that hard work seems about to pay off. But her fans have no idea about the nightmare in Glenn and Natalie’s past.

Outstanding Read!!
Revisado: 07-13-24
I’m not sure if I’m reviewing the book itself or the Reader’s performance, so… I’ll do both. I read a lot of excellent books and hardly leave reviews, but THIS book far exceeds ‘the usual’ expectations. It’s a little different than books 1-4 (which is neither good nor bad), a bit more personal for the characters. I found myself going through emotions like the main character of the kids movie “Inside Out 2”!! 😂 I was frustrated. I laughed, I cried and sometimes even annoyed and anxious. It’s a terrific read from start to finish. You really get to know the characters on a more personal level, leaving you wanting more.
Regarding the Narrator, Emily Sutton-Smith; she’s fantastic! I love how she dictates the story, changing her voice in reference to the different characters. I don’t mind listening to her ‘read to me’. Without giving anything away, I especially like her narration of “Celia”. ☺️
Overall, an excellent read AND narration. You’ll enjoy this book on Audible or if you choose to read it yourself. I definitely recommend this book and the series. Do yourself a favor and grab the prequel books as well… maybe after book 3 (?) Enjoy!!
