As a former economics teacher who had to squeeze in personal finance into the 2-3 days we had allotted for it, I truly appreciate how clearly and thoroughly Robert addresses these topics. This book would have been a great help for teenage me, as my parents didn't really teach us anything explicitly about money or credit. If I had this tool in my toolbelt, I would have been much more prepared for the challenges I encountered, and I believe that's the power of a book like this. Whether youth or adult, Mr. Newkirk has written a book that would be absolutely beneficial and have a tangible impact on the reader's financial practices.
