Hannah Somerville does a wonderful job of bringing the lovable characters and magical world that Erin Johnson has created to life. When Imogen decided to enter a baking contest, she never imagined in her wildest dreams the impact it would have on her life. Trouble seems to follow Imogen and her friends wherever they go. This series is full of magic, mystery, and even romance. Definitely worth a listen.

For those unfamiliar with Amo Jones, be advised that there may be triggers for some individuals in this dark romance. She is not one to shy away from dark, twisted, and taboo topics. Jade and Royce had always been very close until he suddenly disappears without a trace nor any explanation, causing Jade’s world to change dramatically. When he suddenly returns four years later, Royce (aka Sicko) is a completely different person from the boy she knew. Little does he know how much has changed Jade as well. This is the second book in the Black Paw Pack series. Hollie Jackson did a great job bringing the characters to life. As if dealing with the fallout of freeing Mina from the cruel hands of the leader of the Twisted Tail pack weren’t enough, Erin and Lucas soon find their worlds completely turned upside down thanks to fate. Erin, one of the pack’s healers, has grown weary of hiding her true nature. Yet, revealing her true self could mean the end for her. Meanwhile, all that Lucas wanted was to find his mate and start a family. However, upon finding her and discovering her secrets, he is faced with a difficult choice as she is both everything he has ever wanted and vowed to destroy.

I’ve read several series by Melanie James and this one did not disappoint! Hollie Jackson did a wonderful job narrating. Norse mythology is woven into the story. Rafe, the leader of the Black Paw pack, discovers that his fated mate is bound to the leader of the rival Twisted Tail pack. Rafe and Mina must overcome numerous obstacles that have been placed in their path if they are to find happiness together.

Ocean has made the decision to enter the Wolf Den. A decision that will have much farther reaching consequences than she ever imagined and one that will complicate her life and relationships more than just a little. Ocean manages to make a few new enemies, as well as some unlikely allies, as she seeks to find her way through the challenging situation she now finds herself in.
