It was good once I got used to the new narrator

The biggest problem with this was the change of narrator. He doesn't really change his voice much when switching characters starting out. Maybe it's just me getting used to it, but by the end, they became easier to differentiate just based on the voice.
The story was rushed at the beginning, and I think this should have been labeled as a new series. It turned out to be very good.

Great book and the narrator did a great job. The only thing I didn't like was the pronunciation of a few words like inexorable. Every time it was used I had to take a couple seconds to understand what they said.

The first book was great and the other two were good. Travis Baldree, as always gave an amazing performance as narrator! As for the story, there were a few parts I found so stressful I almost stopped listening. These were mainly in book 2 and at the start of book 3. MC isn't a gamer and entered a hard-core game world and knew nothing about it. Also the ending was not what I expected.
Slight spoiler, the parts were the mc being stupid/ignorant, being tortured, and his wife who im glad was only in the beginning of the 3rd book.
