It makes no attempts to defend God and provides no easy answers about pain and suffering, but it is a breath of fresh air in the midst of an evangelical world that only seeks to diminish the pain of those who suffer.

This book was a major tool helping someone I know with their anxiety. It gave many helpful tips and you can refer to whatever section you need help with the most.Not only did the other take the approach of explaining anxiety on a level for someone who might not have anxiety, he made it very easy to relate to the pressure and social aspect of anxiety. I would recommend this book for people who have loved ones dealing with anxiety. I think they would get a better understanding of what people deal with on a daily basis.

I Love This Anxiety Book!!!

This book is great for Anxiety. Four stars only because I was hoping to learn a skill set to combat anxiety but have found this is more of a book to learn about myself. I do enjoy it and have partnered it with professional help so the two together seem to work well.The book gives several exercises for the reader to communicate with their loved one, ask for what they need in terms of practical help or emotional support, and suggests awareness and acceptance of anxiety as part of the human condition.

This is an excellent book. it's well written, easy to read and has great points to help you turn your classroom and teaching around. I have already implemented strategies from this book and can see a difference in my energy in the classroom and a positive change in behaviors.I highly recommend this book. I have been following the advice given on the website for a couple of years now and this book narrows it down to a few simple but important habits.
