Historia
Marc Headley provides an insider's view of life as a member of Scientology's "Sea Organization". Marc worked at Scientology's secret desert compound, which houses all Scientology management, for 15 years. The 500-acre property is located deep in the California desert. The local townspeople were told lectures and films were made there. But is that all that was happening? It is the location of a multi-million-dollar home for L. Ron Hubbard, built two decades after his death. It is the home of Scientology's current leader, David Miscavige.

Historia
On the day the government decrees that women are no longer allowed more than 100 words daily, Dr. Jean McClellan is in denial. This can't happen here. Not in America. Not to her. This is just the beginning. Soon women are not permitted to hold jobs. Girls are no longer taught to read or write. Females no longer have a voice. Before, the average person spoke 16,000 words a day, but now women only have 100 to make themselves heard. But this is not the end. For herself, her daughter, and every woman silenced, Jean will reclaim her voice.

It was Decent
Revisado: 06-12-22
It was hard to get started with since all the blame of society gone wrong was Conservatism and Christianity, rather than a nut-job cult take-over. There were a couple of spots I had to listen to multiple times, as I’d thought I just have missed something, but no, those were just some thin spots. The plot was
otherwise interesting and I do think this was worth the listen and use of a credit.

I really wanted a DNA/Genealogy book, not a biology text. I died in chapter 5.

Historia
City of Fallen Angels take up where City of Glass left off. With Valentine out of the way, Clary thought she and Jace could finally be together--but when someone starts murdering the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine's Circle and leaving their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to destroy the new peace between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, she realizes the past can never be left entirely behind.

Just wish they'd match pronunciations when changing narrators! Drives me a wee bit nuts! But otherwise, well done.
