In this book, I really enjoyed the relationship between Tallus and Diem more than I have in previous books. They felt more comfortable with each other, and I could really sense their connection. The case they were working on was another highlight for me—it was definitely the part I enjoyed most. I love a good mystery that keeps me guessing and doesn’t get figured out too quickly, and this one definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. Diem has a lot of baggage, which I’m not always a fan of, but he’s slowly growing on me. It was also great to revisit some old friends in this book, though I still miss Valor and Doyle so much! The ending wrapped everything up perfectly, and now I’m eager for the next one.

As always, the narration is spot on!

Duet narration with Jason Clark and Andi Arndt on an audiobook I already loved, YES PLEASE!

This story made my heart smile and my insides a little mushy! It was a very sweet friends to lovers story with NO drama!!! I love how Lauren Blakley can give us a beautiful romance without the need for the unnecessary drama added just for excitement.

Cooper is a great character for me because he is rich and well known but he doesn't act it! He didn't use his money to impress her and the money didn't change who he was. He still hung out with his friends, focused on his love for football and was a complete momma's boy in the best way!
Violet might be my favorite character! She is strong and confident. She stuck to her feelings, never trying to hide behind them or had insecurities! With her business, her family and her love life she always seemed to do what felt right and didn't really play "games". She knew who she was, what she felt and she didn't try to fight it! These too had great chemistry and I think that stems from the years they have known each other. I love friends to lovers because the love is not instantaneous and it is so easy to feel the love between the characters because you know it's not just physical attraction after all those years! Although I will say this book was light on sex but the few scenes it had were very hot!

The narration was spot on as always! You can sure tell the author is an audiobook listener, it shows in her casting choices!

oh Yeah, Single dad & teacher/parent all in one slow burn romance!! I love the growth of these characters throughout this book. They took awhile to get there but once they did you can't help but root for them to figure life out together. The attraction was steamy and I loved that Niles was out and proud and still understood August's worries about letting the world know about them. I loved the relationship between August and his daughter. It was very realistic of a parent and teenager relationship and they both grow and change until they they just need each other.

The narration was great as always with Nick J Russo, I especially enjoyed the accent he gave August.

This was a fun Christmas book and much more.
This book was so full of tropes I guarantee that there is a trope in here for everyone!
I really liked the characters. The relationship between them was fun and flirty and I was really on board for it as things grew and flourished. I think Wilder was my kind of hero, he was sweet and caring and generous. I loved how he was always helping people. There was a little drama but it was mostly outside drama which I can get on board with and I loved how everything came together. The ending was exactly what I needed. All in all this was such a fun holiday story!

The narration was great but that is no surprise! Lauren picks the best narrators and Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor are both excellent!!

Another Lauren Blakely fun and yummy adult romance! Yes I know I added adult because I have a weakness for romance without the childish drama and Lauren always provides that! I love sports romance, forbidden romance & grumpy/sunshine so i knew this one would be right up my alley. I will say this book also gave me Swifty vibes.

Max & Evelyn start off cold but they heat up and catch fire! I loved their dynamic changes throughout the book and did I mention how hot they are! I really enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next one!

Teddy & Vanessa together is ALWAYS PERFECT!!

I really enjoy Diem & Tallus and how different they are. In this book I felt the connection growing and strengthening between them which is always a plus for me. I enjoyed the case they were working on but it was not what I enjoyed most about this book. I liked the romance/relationship more than the mystery. Diem & Tallus have a lot of growing still to do but I am here for it! I also loved revisiting old friends in this book. I still miss Valor & Doyle so much so i loved that part! The ending of this book was perfect. I can't wait for the next one!

The narration is perfect as always!

Another awesome Mystery Series by Nicky James! If you loved Valor & Doyle then you will love this one like I did! The chemistry between Tallus & Diem is off the charts and they fit together like ying and yang and I love that! They are very different but just work so well.

I love that Tallus coined himself as Diems partner and is getting to do what he has always wanted to do and that is being a detective. I love his confidence when it comes to Diem. Tallus on the other hand is a little broken and I just know Diem is going to help mend him! Together these two bring out the best in each other. I also loved the connection to Valor & Doyle. This book was a great first full length book in this series and I can't wait for more. (Make sure you check out the prequel novella too).

The narration was perfect, I love Nick, he does such a great job at become he voice of whatever character is in the book. Some narrators make it hard to move past the last character with that voice but not him!

HOLY HOT!!! I haven't listened to a book with this much sex in years! This book has a great storyline but it was hidden behind all the HOT sex LOL. Loved each of these characters because each of them was so different. The three men all have a great quality and each has one special quality that I feel like most women would want in a great boyfriend. All together they make the Perfect Boyfriends!

Briar didn't have a great boyfriend history at all and her ex is a complete douche!!!! I loved seeing her figure out that the issues were not her and she deserves better. She was a strong, smart and pretty confident women that just needed to be lifted back up after the awful ex and these three hockey players were exactly what she needed.

The duet full cast narration was awesome but that is no surprise because I love all of these narrators! Lauren Blakely always has the best narrators!

And she is back!!! I have been waiting for a new Amy Daws' book and was so excited when she announced this fun and sexy book was coming out and let me tell you it was worth the wait! I laughed, I swooned, I giggled and I fell in love. I knew I was going to love this one just based on the teasers... a plus sized animal lover, a "grumpy" possessive mountain man and a surrogacy, what's not to love!

Wyatt is my kind of guy, he knows what he wants and goes for it. He might come off as grumpy but he is a softy for the people he loves. Trista has goals and is ready to do what she needs to to meet those goals even if that means being a surrogate. These two together are so much fun. The snark, sarcasm and just all out silliness of some of their situations made this book so enjoyable and don't let that make you think this isn't a HOT book because oh man this mountain man is a dirty talker and bossy in a very good way. I also really enjoyed the way these two both have some past issues that are VERY different but each of them understands the others hang-ups and they do things to show each other that things with them are different from what they have experienced in the past.

My second favorite thing about this book is the family!! Wyatt's family is so close and I just love how thoughtful they are and how they come together when they need too. I loved them all and can't even say who my favorite was. The animals Trista rescues are also a big part of this story and as an animal rescue girl myself, this just made me love Trista & this book even more.

The narration was stellar as always with Erin Mallon & Teddy Hamilton! These are my 2 favorite narrators so this was a no brainer for me ;) I love how natural their duet narration flows.
