Historia
A dark and sweeping adventure, Dreamcatcher is set in the haunted city of Derry - the site of Stephen King's It and Insomnia. In it, four young boys stand together and do a brave, good thing, an act that changes them in ways that they hardly understand. A quarter-century later, as grown men who have gone their separate ways, these friends come together once a year to hunt in the woods of Maine.

Good listen
Revisado: 12-27-22
I love King and this story does not disappoint. The narration is first rate! The story drags on a little more than normal for King but his imagination never ceases to amaze and astound me. Worth a credit? Oh yes!

Historia
For most of the last hundred years, Biloxi was known for its beaches, resorts, and seafood industry. But it had a darker side. It was also notorious for corruption and vice, everything from gambling, prostitution, bootleg liquor, and drugs to contract killings. The vice was controlled by small cabal of mobsters, many of them rumored to be members of the Dixie Mafia.

wonderfully written and read.
Revisado: 11-10-22
it is a classic John grisham with less lawyer and more relationship. Michael Beck, as usual, enhances the story so very well. he is by far my favorite reader. I loved this Tale of small town Mississippi and all the nuances of best friends torn apart by life's circumstances. highly recommend!

An adorable book!
Revisado: 08-19-22
I am so glad that I listened to this on Audible versus reading it myself. The Reader did a phenomenal job with the voices and I found myself lapsing into the Italian accent in my head throughout my day. The book is a romping tale of a town with a big heart but many small minds. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope you do too!

They found the town silent, apparently abandoned. Then they found the first body strangely swollen and still warm. One hundred fifty were dead, 350 missing. But the terror had only begun in the tiny mountain town of Snowfield, California.

Sappy and predictable but well written.
Revisado: 07-14-21
It reminds me of the bland romance novels that were always present in my younger days. This is a very predictable story and is so sappy at times. The reader kept me going through to the end though. I love Susan Ericksen's narrations. The characters are good and fairly rich, the storyline is good as well. It just didn't give me all the feels like some of Kristen's other books have. Meh.
