Hard to get started getting used to the different voices of characters but so glad I hung on. Gave me Fleetwood Mac vibes mixed with Almost Famous. Haven’t read Stevie Nicks autobiography in a long time but so much made me picture her story of an album they made. Loved the ending!!

This is by far the best book I have listened to all year!! Jason your story is so remarkable, I am watching this opioid crisis destroy people and your eye opening memoir good help a lot of people. Where do we find sponsors like you to help people? I think this book could help a lot of people and educate others. I have so many questions still, write another book!! And speak at schools!

The narrator did a fantastic job, the more I audible I have realized the narrator is a make or break for me. Story was great but I wanted more from the ending and now want to know what happened to other characters!! But that is what makes a great story since I am now looking for more.

I do not normally write reviews, I am an audible addict, but in all the books I have listened to I have never left with chills and tears like this one. First off Tom Hanks could read the telephone book and I would listen. So many times with audio books the tone is wrong through the whole story, and personally I think it is sad for the writer, it can ruin a great story. Obviously not the case here.
This story just went so many places and ended so beautifully. The characters all came together in such a way that it truly made me think of just how real life is. Absolutely beautiful. Looking to see what else Ann Patchett as soon as I post this.

I am officially addicted to audible!! I have spent most of my summer binge listening and this has been by far my favorite. This women who told her story is not only brave but really comes out of this story describing to me what the true meaning of family is. The trials she went through were unimaginable but she still manages to care for her siblings with so much love. I could go on and on....and I loved the ending. God Bless you and your family Ruth Wariner.
