Hard to sit through

Struggled to sit through it. It had promise that quickly fell short.The concept was a good idea but the story just kept losing me and was ridiculously predictable. it seemed as though it was written for young teens, not adults. I would not recommend it!

Falls very short of expectations!

I am a huge fan of Cam Hanes, which is why it was so disappointing. It felt very monotonous and dare I say "bitter". The main re-occurring theme of the book was "Can't listen to the haters!" but it felt like he kept going on about the haters. Multiple times I had to check to make sure I didn't hit a previous chapter button on my phone, It was like a 60 min podcast that just kept repeating it self. I was really hoping for better. Still a huge fan of who he is and what he has done in his life, but this book does not live up to his mantra. It would have been a good book if half of it wasn't reading "hater" comments. Its hard to say don't listen to them when that's mostly what your focused on.

We loved this podcast. You would think it would be all about Alex and his life but he rarely talks about himself. The history of climbing is so interesting and entertaining it is a must for your drives to to wall. We climb in the mountains every week, which is two hours from where we live. These have made the drive a lot more enjoyable. Its got great tips in it as well if you are new to climbing like us. The only thing we don't like about it is that they haven't released more yet!

After 10 books you change the narrator? it is like waking up beside your wife or husband of ten years and they are now speaking completely different. tone, voice accent , it completely changes how you see the characters, I couldn't get 20min into the book. I just shut it off.
