Historia
Paul Polak, whose organization International Development Enterprises (IDE) has directly helped over 17 million people get out of poverty permanently, exposes the top 3 things we are doing wrong in our efforts to end the root causes of poverty. He then, through the story of a Nepali farmer, goes on to detail solutions for what actually works when it comes to ending poverty.

Overall a wonderful book which mixes a memoir with a compelling theory of change for addressing poverty in communities with poor governance. Some of the solutions offered suffer from the same criticism that is laid out at traditional approaches in the book (lack of strong evidence), however this book will hopefully encourage people to test out the theory and create more and more evidence to improve international development overall.
