One of the best of the series

Such a fun story--it moved along well, with many false clues and turns. Wonderful narration, again, and terrific characters. I couldn't turn it off, and finished the book in one day!! Everytime Mr. Fogg barked, my three dogs chimed it. Can't wait for the next in the series.

Fun story ruined by narration

Too bad the tone of the narrator doesn't fit at all with the main character. It sounded like a child's story-not appropriate for adult subjects at all. And her accents are horrible.

Cliched and trite--avoid this book

I cannot finish this book. I would return it, but Audible won't let me. The only positive is the narration by Jonathan Cole--Cindy Kay is impossible to listen to. Even apart from the narration, the story line makes no sense, there is no charisma between the main characters, no logical sequence of events, no tension or anticipation building. The book is just an excuse to be as brash, as crass, as in-your-face as possible. Don't waste a credit on this.

Heart warming story of women pilots

These are house-and life- lessons for us all

This beautiful memoire is so much more than the renovation of an old house, but the impact that process has on the people involved. Beautifully written, and beautifully performed, I was charmed by this book, wanting to visit this home and befriend the author and her family. It made me look around at my own home and see it with renewed eyes. I loved the audio version so much, I also had to purchase the hard copy.

The author threw in every conceivable trite plot twist--adoption, gambling addiction, sex after 50, right to die--but never developed any of it.
