Amazing right up till the end
Revisado: 04-12-24
Stop reading now if you don’t want any spoilers. I was loving this book, it was exciting and riveting, right up till the end. I want to believe that Jesse is mostly innocent, a victim of sorts, and that John deserved what he got. Apparently, Natalie and Dave will believe anything anybody tells them and act upon it accordingly. First they believe Jesse but then, when John is dying, they believe him when he could be lying to save his life. The prologue is just strange when it comes to Darren. Apparently it’s a shame what happened to Darren, but we aren’t given this information. Was Jesse’s story the truth or not, considering his narrative was most of the book, if it was not true, what a waste of time. It’s a bit like gone girl, had I known how it would end I would probably not have wasted my time.
