Historia
Kenan Thompson is Saturday Night Live’s longest-ever-serving cast member and a star of such pioneering sketches as “Black Jeopardy” and is hugely beloved thanks to a tidal wave of nostalgic fans who grew up on early 2000s classics All That, Good Burger, and Kenan & Kel on Nickelodeon. He’s also a dad (to two girls) in his mid-40s living in suburbia, and whose universal, relatable, family-friendly humor has created unbelievable appeal and engagement from fans from middle America to coastal elites. Becoming a dad sucked the cool right out of him—and he's OK with that!

Laughed out loud
Revisado: 06-23-24
Always loved Kenan on SNL, and listening to him tell his life story was a treat. He could have been reading an instruction manual and I still would have laughed. 😆

What an odd book.
Revisado: 01-14-24
I have listened to a LOT of books, and this one was strange to me. There were revelations that came out of nowhere and made me go "huh? when did that happen?" and then it proceeded to fill in the blanks to make it make sense. I don't understand why the main character did and didn't do things that any normal human would have done in her situation.

4 different, and really great books
Revisado: 12-30-23
Each book was interesting and well narrated, and all had me guessing until the end. And for one credit? Can't beat it! I've listened to a LOT of books, and these four stand out. Highly recommended.

Another woman with her head in the sand
Revisado: 01-28-23
I mean... come on. I know we can't know how we'd behave if we were in a relationship with a person like the guy in this book, but I sure hope I wouldn't be quite this blind. So many books are like this and it's ridiculous.

The narration...yikes
Revisado: 01-08-23
The narrator had the most aggressive tone for 95% of the book. I kept thinking in my head of how much more enjoyable it would have been to listen to it in a different tone. It was just so over the top. The story was good but the narration was just grating. Calm down, lady!

Long!
Revisado: 10-07-22
Agree with other reviewers, this story was good in the beginning, dragged in the middle, and the last 3 hours were quick and full of twists. I stuck with it mainly because I liked the narrator's voice, but the end was good.

Would have been good, but...
Revisado: 02-21-22
I usually love books like this. However in this case, it was way too long. I had a feeling right at the beginning, when Greg described every single tool in his garage, that this was going to be an overly wordy book and I was right. It almost felt like the author was trying to reach some kind of word count. On top of that, the narrator was overly expressive during Greg's parts. It was very odd and hard to listen to at times. I don't think he needed to be made to sound quite that incredulous every time he thought to himself. All this may sound petty but after listening to 400 books, this one stood out and not in a good way. The story was good but the way it was executed was not.
