I almost didn’t read, so glad I did!

I don’t know how this book got any bad reviews. It was sweet and clean! She had a broken heart to protect and a hope of love she wouldn’t allow herself. And a man willing to see it and give it time regardless of pushback. It wasn’t long winded but just right in the history of their relationships with other. I loved it! Hope to see more from this author!
Redemption for the cousin in a future book?
Maybe a love story for Alice one day?

great narrator...could not stop reading...but...

Excellent narration! I really enjoyed this one, I just wish it had been deeper. I know it is a duology, but I feel like it could have been more in depth and not so rushed. Which could be an argument that I really loved it and just wished it lasted longer?! However, none of that stopped me from finishing it with a smile in one day! Will definitely be keeping my eyes out for the sequel!
just remember this is a YA and big on adventure & many different relationships but light on romance.
