A rose-colored view of the Trump dynasty

I thought this book was going to be an unbiased look at the Trump White House, as the name of the book implies. Instead, I soon realized this was nothing more than a "puff piece" about dear leader (and his family) written by a Republican political hack. The author, Doug Wead is a frequent voice on Fox News, The Hill, Newsmax and other conservative media mouthpieces.
Be prepared for the "official story" of each family member. All the children get their own chapter (yes, even the elusive Tiffany). This book has already been accused of falsities in the media; claiming Obama's White House held weekly "political correctness" meetings. It didnt-- and Mr. Wead was forced to retract the statement.
Other parts were rife with contradictions such as Trump's recollection of election night vs other family members or how Ivanka claimed the famous disagreement Bannon had recounted in "Fire and Fury" was totally fictional.
I had to grit my teeth and almost shook my head out of socket a few times to get to the end, but since it had had no critical reviews thus far I felt it my duty to give it a full going over so someone else doesn't get suckered into buying this steaming pile of "alternative facts". I read it so you dont have to. Now to try and return this screed of propaganda.

The night Donald Trump won the presidency, our author Joel Stein, Thurber Prize finalist and former staff writer for Time Magazine, instantly knew why. The main reason wasn't economic anxiety or racism. It was that he was anti-elitist. Hillary Clinton represented Wall Street, academics, policy papers, Davos, international treaties and the people who think they're better than you. People like Joel Stein. Trump represented something far more appealing, which was beating up people like Joel Stein.
