Would you consider the audio edition of The Guns of Frank Eaton to be better than the print version?

It took me a few minutes to get into the character, but once I was in, I was REALLY into this tale of honor , blood and revenge. I couldn't turn it off and hated for it to end. Hoping for more from this writer and this character.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Frank Eaton himself. At one point I thought I was listening to a western version of John Wick. Yes...Everyone is going to die! LOL

What about John Burlinson’s performance did you like?

The tone and inflection took me right to the period and made the whole story come to life. Great work!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Revenge is best served cold..........

When they are casting the movie they need to look to a younger version of Timothy Olphant. I cannot wait to see this story come to life on the big screen.

Without having the writing skills of Louis l'Amour, I cannot possibly do this review justice. Simply suffice it to say I have read many, many books in my extended career as a reader and this book is most definitely a top 10 read. This book has it all

Would you listen to Gone to Texas - A Josey Wales Western again? Why?

I would and I will. Strong character with a very emotional connection.

What other book might you compare Gone to Texas - A Josey Wales Western to and why?

Just a great western with a deep, deep emotion under it all. You will root for this bad guy from start to finish.

Which character – as performed by Chet Williamson – was your favorite?

Chet did great and he can even sing....a little bit.... Great work.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Listen to while driving and I hated getting to work and I looked forward to the drive.

Thank God there is a sequel. I want more, more more.

Yes, I love the wisdom, the tone and the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I didn't see that coming. Nasty twist really made me emotional and yanked at my heart.
