Lots of useful info, but….

OMG, the voices. The voice changes and imitations are enough to make me want to slam my head in to the wall. If the info wasn’t as good as it was, it wouldn’t be worth it. Every time the narrator was speaking in her “man” voice i wanted to scream…and her “woman” voice was extremely condescending. Yuck. Anyway, i know the book is a little older, but it definitely still gives the newbie a lot to consider. It helps in guiding conversations with your partner(s).

Extremely valuable information

This book is packed with great information & insight. If you are a black professional or entrepreneur, please get this book. We need more of these types of thoughts in it brain than the garbage we get from the nightly news. I would love to give it 5 stars but it’s just too long for those of us with shorter attention spans. I will most likely listen again to make sure i get all the nuggets, but probably on 1.5x speed this time.

I really wanted to like this book! But I’m literally having to force myself to finish it hoping there’s some nugget in here somewhere.
There is some OK money advice in the book. But you have to get through her voice. Bless her heart. I’m sure she’s sweet as pie, but by God woman, please hire a narrator for your next book & rent a professional sound booth!

I've been following Rachel for awhile now, so I'm familiar with her work. Somehow though, this book exceeded all my expectations...And I had high expectations. The truth of the content in this book hits you right between the eyes. Hard. I'm not a money coach, I'm a business coach. But the amount of money blocks I see when dealing with my clients is astronomical. This book addresses them so well. This book is now required reading for all my new clients. Bravo!

I have listened to over 80 books in the last 18-24 months. Every single one has been some sort of business book. Entrepreneurial, sales, leadership, etc. I'm not a novel girl. Something about them had always seemed like a waste of time. But this book changed my mind. I got lost in it and didn't want to stop listening. Found myself actually getting irritated with every interruption! Loved it! Can't wait for another book by Noelle... No pressure! Lol

I seriously struggled to finish this book. It started out strong in the beginning. But then I realized it's just the same information that is being recycled for moms that want to work at home and not actually make some real money. Maybe this is my fault, maybe I've read too many entrepreneurial books. But this one really lost me at the end when she started getting super religious. I want good books, with good information, that can be read and enjoyed by everyone looking to improve their business skills. The title is misleading. This book should be called "moms who want to make a little bit of money at home and then give it away".
