Holy Cow!!!!
Revisado: 05-24-24
Sometimes the second book in a series is never as good as the first. In the case of this second book, that is far from the truth. This one was even better! Wooooooooooo! (Iykyk).

Wow! What a Ride
Revisado: 07-02-23
Loved this one, second in the series, more than the first one! Narrated by my favorite female narrator, Hillary Huber. She is able to perform such a wide variety of voices that all sound natural & there is never any confusion about which charades speaking.

Good story ; bad narration
Revisado: 06-28-23
The story was beautiful. What almost ruined it for me was the narration & all the he said, she said, he says, she says & I say. Let the voices tell the listener who is speaking for crying out loud!

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

I’ll read the rest on my Kindle
Revisado: 02-24-23
I read the first four books if this series on my Kindle and I’ll continue to read them but I am officially over these audiobooks. The narrator’s voice grated on my last nerve. Plus some of the adult characters sound like five year olds.

DNF
Revisado: 09-14-20
I could not finish this! Even before tragedy struck the protagonist was a “Debbie Downer”. I am suffering from metaphor overload. If you like Hallmark movies you’ll probably love this. Shallow story with shallow characters. I kept waiting for something edgy to happen that would draw me in but sadly it didn’t so I gave up around midway.
