This was a great debut novel and really sets the scene for the next installments in the series. Holly does a great job painting the new worlds, and the differences between the species. This is a fun young adult read, with a hint of romance, and females competing to be the best, then becoming friends.

This man claims to be Cillian Balor, The Night Warrior, the same character Viranda herself had created in her novel. Cillian believes Viranda to be the Goddess of Fate from his homeworld of Lingard. However, Viranda claims there is no Goddess of Fate in Lingard; she should know, she did create it, after all.

A delightful adventure with a big heart

Not a bad book, I overall enjoyed it. i listened to it as an Audiobook. Some of the battle scenes were a bit long winded for my taste. It was a fun premise of the main characters fictional world mixing with her real world. I'll be heading to check out Jordan's other titles for younger kids.
