Historia
In his decades as a globally recognized teacher, Richard Rohr has helped millions realize what is at stake in matters of faith and spirituality. Yet Rohr has never written on the most perennially talked about topic in Christianity: Jesus. Most know who Jesus was, but who was Christ? Drawing on scripture, history, and spiritual practice, Rohr articulates a transformative view of Jesus Christ as a portrait of God’s constant, unfolding work in the world.

Revisado: 07-15-21
Emmanuel Acho does in this work what a good prophet must do. He afflicts you where you are comfortable and comforts where you are afflicted. If you are seriously ready to examine the issues of race in America and your own heart and mind, then this book is an excellent starting point. This book is comprehensive, insightful and honest. Historia
Al Franken, Giant of the Senate is a book about an unlikely campaign that had an even more improbable ending: the closest outcome in history and an unprecedented eight-month recount saga, which is pretty funny in retrospect. It's a book about what happens when the nation's foremost progressive satirist gets a chance to serve in the United States Senate and, defying the low expectations of the pundit class, actually turns out to be good at it.

Historia
Rising sea level is the most profound long-term aspect of climate change. Yet, the public is almost completely unaware of the magnitude of the problem. For three million years sea level regularly moved up and down almost 400 feet with the ice age cycles. Now, after 6,000 years of minimal change, we are entering a new era of rapid sea level rise. In clear, easy-to-understand language, this book explains how, why, and what will happen.

Important knowledge
Revisado: 02-28-17
This book although startling at times and disturbing in other ways is a necessary call to citizens of this planet to address the issues of climate change. It is high time to stop the unproductive denial and silly debates over cause and effect and move to take action on real long term solutions to our situation. To quote Stan Laurel,"It's a fine mess you got us in now Ollie." Let's get to concerted effort to address this set of issues. Our kids and grandkids are needing us to lead now.
