Lovely narration on the latest offering from Neal. As always, you can expect fascinating and diverse characters, technical descriptions of engineered systems both real and fictional, and a world alive with historical and culture details drawn from reality. Termination Shock is enjoyable both for the story itself and the immersive, realistic sense of life amid climate crises of the near future. If you love Neal Stephenson, this book may find a place among your favorites. if you're new to Neal, I think this would be a great place to start.

Love hearing my favorite RPG system in audiobook form. Narrator did a great job, and the story was everything you'd expect: globetrotting, interesting "runs" in a few locations (Chicago, Amazonia, Antarctica), oddball characters covering the major archetypes. I was even legitimately moved by a death near the end. Give us more!

Unique Format, Incredible Story!

Part memoir, part self-discipline toolkit, part podcast is probably the best way to describe this production. The book is a reflection of one man's life, a testament to the transformative power of suffering etched in a long trail of blood, sweat, and impossible feat after impossible feat. I needed to hear so many of the things Goggins speaks to in this book. Unless you are living up to your maximum potential every single day (hah!), chances are you do, too. By sheer willingness to work harder, to suffer more to become more, Goggins has called out all of us. Especially slackers like me!
