Shocked the publisher kept racist verbiage.
Shocked anyone would agree to narrate this.
Shocked with all the stupid woke crap going on in this world, the same people are willing to let this book sail on by.

Just Watch the Movie
Revisado: 01-16-25
The first book was great, this second book I wish I would have just watched the movie. The second book lacks a lot of what the first book had.

Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Could Be Better
Revisado: 11-27-24
This book is good. The problem is it should have been a lot better. Half of it is one that anyone could have written and covers basic biographical information on athletes you probably don't care about. He had the ability to get some real personal information, but for the most part, he did not.

Historia
Known, thanks to his racing style and attitude, for being one of road cycling's last romantics, Dan has always shied away from revealing too much about himself and his story. Now, having retired at the end of the 2021 season aged 35 and no longer bound by the constraints of the racing circuit, Dan feels the time is right to tell his story in the same forthright and honest manner that he rode his bike. This audiobook reflects Dan's generous and outspoken spirit, his resilience to pain, crashes, bad luck and, finally, his acceptance of destiny.

I understand why the book is named chased by pandas but for me I just did not care for the whole panda thing, it seemed forced and strange. But we really got a good look into Dan Martin and this was a really good book about the struggles of pro bike racing.

Part I
Revisado: 11-13-24
This could have been a complete book but it is only part one. It could have been everything; it is very short. Hopefully, in book two, we find out more about whether any of Dad's anger was a result of his brain tumor and why she has such strong positive feelings for a mother who did not leave. It would also be nice for the next book to discuss a little bit about options for women who stay in an abusive relationship, including fear, financial dependency, emotional manipulation, lack of resources, or hope for change. Parents are required to protect their children with no excuses; we need to make sure every abused parent knows they have an option.
