Truly a great American classic work, in fantastic John McPhee fashion, it keeps you wanting more while learning and enjoying the process.

Whether you are, or are not familiar with the works of John McPhee, this book is a masterclass on the process of decision making, compilation, and storytelling. Pulling from an amazing life's worth of material, the explanation of what goes into a piece of writing is phenomenal.
I was recommending it to friends before I was even halfway through.

This is something people need now-a-days. The mindset, the ethos, the way the world has softened and disconnected from hard work. This is the book the US needs to read to kick it's ass into shape.

First off, as the title says, I love the story of Dune, but whoever designed the voice acting in this needs just find a new line of work.
The actors and narrator sounded alright, it's the jumbled mix of narrator doing all of the voices - which sounded fine - to then a new person taking over reading dialogue for sometimes even only part of a conversation, and then switching back to the narrator. The thing that is most confusing is trying not to get lost in figuring out whether a new person is talking or somebody else just took over the the dialogue. Honestly I really wish they'd just been straight forward and had one narrator. that would've been better than this.
